Catholic Revival Ministries Beliefs & Values

What are your religious beliefs?

At Catholic Revival Ministries, we adhere to the Catholic Christian faith and uphold Scripture and Catholic Church doctrine in everything that we teach.

What do you mean when you say you’re ecumenical?

Catholic Revival Ministries values the contributions and unique expressions of fellow Christians across all denominations and streams. We frequently and unapologetically draw from or recommend resources from non-Catholic Christian sources in our course materials and other content avenues (blog, podcast, social media). Such recommendations should not be construed as a guarantee that these resources, their authors, or the religious organizations they represent will be consistent with Catholic teaching in every possible way, but as an endorsement that we find them to be reliable and trustworthy sources to learn from that can greatly enhance our relationship with Christ and our spiritual development.

What do you mean when you say “revival”?

When we use the word "revival" in the context of Catholic Revival Ministries, we are referring to the expansion of God's Kingdom on earth through His manifest presence. This we especially hope to see through the supernatural activity of His sons & daughters, so our vision for "Catholic Revival" is for Catholics to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring revival (the spread of God's Kingdom) to their spheres of influence across the earth.

 General Course Information

Who should take Catholic Revival Ministry courses?

  • Anyone who is hungry for more of the Lord.

  • Anyone who desires to grow in understanding and practice of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  • Anyone who longs to see more of God’s Kingdom on this earth, but feels poorly equipped to bring it forth.

  • Anyone who feels called to something greater than their current state, but doesn’t know how to get there.

  • Anyone who wishes to bring supernatural impact to the world, whether it’s in everyday-life or from a position of influence.

Whatever your age, status, occupation, or vocation, if you want to grow, then CRM courses can serve you.

We’ve designed our courses to be online and self-paced for optimal flexibility, with options to participate individually (for those who value a 1-on-1 experience), as a married couple (to grow closer to one another as you pursue the Lord together), or as a group (for greater interaction and community building).

It is worth noting that a foundational understanding of Catholicism is presumed in our teachings, so if you are unfamiliar with the basic tenets of our Faith (the Apostles Creed, the divine inspiration of Scripture, the teaching authority of the Church, the Sacraments, and basic Catholic moral teaching), these courses may not be the best thing for this stage of your journey. But feel free to contact us if you’re uncertain and would like further help in deciding whether this is the right fit for you.

How do I purchase a course?

From the courses page, find the course you would like to purchase and click on “course info” to view its description page. At the bottom of this page, you can choose how you would like to complete the course (as an individual, married couple, or in a group). To purchase it as an individual or married couple, simply add the course to your cart and proceed to checkout. After you’ve completed payment, you will receive an email confirming your transaction. To participate in the course as a member of a group, see the group course info below.

How do I access course materials?

After purchasing a course, you will receive an informational email. (A separate email will be sent for each course purchased.) This informational email will give you instructions for accessing an online classroom portal specific to the course you purchased, which contains the details and assignments for each course session, all corresponding materials (downloadable audio teachings and handouts), and recommended resources for further study.

How do group courses work?

Group courses are for groups that wish to complete one of our courses together, meeting in person and receiving online instruction via a single shared screen, such as a laptop, family-room TV, or projector. To participate in a group course that includes training sessions, there must one member who acts as host, which means he/she will take on the responsibility of coordinating the details with us at CRM (scheduling, communications, etc.) on behalf of the group. Anyone can host a group! Click here for further details about participating as a group and to get started!

 Scheduling Training Sessions

How do I schedule a course training session?

For individual or married couple courses: After you’ve purchased your desired course(s), you will receive an email giving you access to the course’s online classroom portal. This portal contains a link to our scheduling page, where you can select a date and time from among our available appointment slots.

For group courses: After the group host contacts us via the hosting request form, he/she will receive an email with a link to our scheduling page, where he/she will select the desired appointment date and time on behalf of the group.

Is it possible to view your availability prior to purchase?

Yes. For group hosts: You will get to select your group’s training session appointment times before any payment is required. For individuals or married couples: You can view our availability calendar here. Please note that this link is for viewing only, and any attempts to book an appointment through this page will be automatically canceled.

How far apart should I space my training sessions?

The goal of our courses is to equip you with practical tools to help you grow in your spiritual life. As such, we find that it helps to have some time to practice these tools on your own in between training sessions. Depending on your schedule, that could look like spacing your training sessions a week apart, or it could look like spreading them out over a day off or a weekend, or even incorporating them into a personal retreat. As long as you can spend some dedicated prayer time in between training sessions, space them out in whatever way suits you!

Do I have to book all of my training sessions right away?

No, but doing so is recommended to make sure space doesn’t fill up. You also have the freedom to reschedule conveniently if a conflict arises.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

Training sessions can be canceled or rescheduled at any time. As a courtesy, we do request at least 48 hours’ notice when canceling/rescheduling. (Note: All course purchases are final, but your three training sessions never expire so long as Catholic Revival Ministries continues offering that course.)

What is Zoom?

Zoom is an online video conferencing tool. Catholic Revival Ministries utilizes Zoom to host live training sessions for our online courses.

What do I need to use Zoom?

You will need a web-accessible device (computer, laptop, smart phone, tablet) with a built-in or connected webcam. Zoom can be utilized on most modern devices. For details, see Zoom’s system requirements.

Do I have to install anything to use Zoom?

Yes. A unique Zoom link will be provided to you (or your group host) for each of your training sessions. The first time you click one of these links, it will automatically prompt you to download and install the Zoom program or app. This can be done simply by clicking the link that pops up in this prompt. For this reason, it is recommended that you log in to Zoom at least 10 minutes before your first training session to allow extra time for installation. See the video below for a walk-through of the installation process.

I’ve never used Zoom before. Is it hard?

Not at all! There are a few controls to acquaint yourself with, such as muting/unmuting your audio and video, display options, and the chat feature. Aside from this, you mainly just need to click the link to your training session and the program will do the rest!

Best practices for using Zoom:

  • Choose to tune in from a location with minimal background noise.

  • Position yourself facing a light source, such as a window, to make sure you are visible on screen.

  • If you are completing a course as an individual (rather than a couple or group), have headphones on-hand – these sometimes provide the best sound quality.
