In this year of "Pursuing the Presence" we have talked a lot about the power of the Holy Spirit, and how we can exercise that power as stewards of God's presence. The apostles demonstrate for us what that power can accomplish through healing and miracles. But Jesus said that his disciples would be known and recognized, not by their powerful deeds, but by their love (John 13:35). Power and love were always meant to go together, and when we exercise love from a place of power, it has the capacity to change lives and hearts in any situation.
